About us
Our mission is to provide a thoughtful and prayerful response to the topic of same-sex unions, showing how Catholics can live out authentic love in today’s world. We aim to help others see that Church teaching is not about exclusion, but about guiding every person toward a deeper relationship with God and a life of self-giving love.

Our Beliefs
We're guided by core beliefs from a Catholic perspective.
- Human Dignity: Every person is created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27). We believe all people—regardless of background or orientation—deserve respect, compassion, and love.
- Theology of the Body as a Guide: Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body reveals God’s design for the human person and sexuality. It teaches that our bodies express the call to self-giving love and faithful commitment.
- Marriage as a Sacred Covenant: We affirm marriage as a lifelong, faithful union between one man and one woman, open to the gift of life (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601). This covenant reflects the love of Christ and His Church.

Unique Perspective
Our approach, "Living God’s Design for Love", is unique because:
- Compassion and Truth in Harmony: We don’t see compassion and truth as opposites. Inspired by Theology of the Body, we believe God’s design for love is both deeply merciful and firmly rooted in truth.
- Student-Led and Faith-Driven: This project is created by students who are actively learning and living their Catholic faith. We bring fresh insight, genuine curiosity, and a willingness to listen and grow.
- A Focus on Human Stories: Instead of only abstract theology, we highlight the lived experiences of people and the call to see Christ in every individual. This perspective makes Church teaching personal and relevant.
Community Engagement
We engage with the local Sydney community through:
- Open Conversations in Parish Groups: Host small-group discussions or youth nights that explore Theology of the Body. Create a welcoming space where people can ask questions, share experiences, and learn together without fear of judgment.
- Acts of Compassion and Service: Organise outreach activities—like volunteering at shelters, supporting local families, or writing letters of encouragement—to show Christ’s love in action. Service reminds us that everyone deserves dignity and care.
- Respectful Dialogue with Diverse Communities: Engage with people of different backgrounds or beliefs with humility and respect. By listening first and speaking kindly, Catholics can model Christ’s love while remaining faithful to Church teaching.
